About me

Rory Miller is a multiple Gold-certified, Billboard-charting Mix Engineer and Producer.

Rory began his professional journey in the music industry at the onset of the pandemic in 2020. As a senior in high school and also post graduation, he worked as a mix and production assistant for multi-GRAMMY-winning producer/mixer Ken Lewis, an experience he credits for building his foundation and early education in the art of mixing.

In Spring 2022, Rory founded 117 Entertainment, an artist development and full-service production company for independent artists. His goal was to deliver major-label quality results at accessible rates, offering services in writing, recording, production, and mixing. Although his primary focus today is mixing, Rory continues to enjoy producing for a select few artists and helping them shape their sound.

In 2024, Rory collaborated with MixStar Studios (John Hanes, Serban Ghenea) and Make Believe Studios to create the MB MixHead plugin, which was later nominated for a TEC Award.

Rory’s discography spans a remarkably diverse range of genres—a reflection of his upbringing in a household filled with music of all kinds: orchestral, grunge, delta blues, reggae, jazz, EDM, and everything in between. That early exposure fostered a versatility that keeps him from being boxed into any single style.

Rory’s expertise is trusted by a wide spectrum of clients—from independent artists and boutique management firms to major record labels and everything in between.

For our Dolby ATMOS mixes, we collaborate with Soul Asylum Studios located in Atlanta, Georgia. Their facility is equipped with a 9.1.6 Dolby ATMOS certified rig, ensuring optimal sound quality and precision for our ATMOS projects.

We do all of our mixing in Pro Tools, and all of our mastering in Magix Sequoia.
